UK Racketlon

Entry for the 2020 County Championships is open on Tournament Software here. Featuring as part of our Festival of Racketlon at Keele University, the County Championships will be played on Sunday 28th June, (with the Staffordshire Open the day before). The match format will once again be:


3 x Men’s singles
1 x Women’s singles
1 x Men’s doubles
1 x Mixed doubles

With each rubber played as 11-up. A team is a minimum of 3 men and 1 woman, but can feature 6 men and 2 women and squad sizes are at the discretion of the team captain.


Entry Information – Team Captains
This season in a bid to simplify the entry process, team captains will enter and pay for their team entry through tournament software, however there will be only one category to enter. Once all teams are entered, a decision on the division structure will be made. After entering their team, team captains will e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. The entry fee is £100 per team, paid directly by the team captains on entry and recovered from their team members.  We welcome entry from existing and new teams, and player of any standard are warmly welcomed to play.  

 

Entry Information – Individual Players
Whether you are unsure who your county captain is, or whether you county has a current team, please contact James Pope. James will ensure as many players as possible are either linked up with a team captain or supported to form your own county. Anyone is welcome to play in the County Championships, irrespective of whether they have played Racketlon before. The eligibility criteria for a county are:


1. You were born in that county
2. You currently live in that county
3. You are a member of a Racketlon constituent (TT, Badminton, Squash and Tennis) sports club in that county.
4. It is the last county you represented in this competition.
