By entering the
tournament, every player agrees to assist in refereeing one or more sports if
required.

Please show respect
for the time schedule! A 'Walk Over' will occur after only 5 minutes. Play
should be continuous thereafter. If any player so wishes, sides are switched at
the time when 11 points are first reached by one of the players. A maximum break of one minute should be allowed when 11 points is first reached
by any player in each set.
·
Warming
up at the next sport must commence within 3 minutes of the end of the previous
set. A warm up must last no longer than 3 minutes.
·
Get
your match cards at the desk before each game and return it after you have
filled in the result. Balls etc. are included in the entry fee.
·
Each
competitor should take all necessary precautions to minimise his/her own risk
and is solely responsible for any loss, damage, personal injury or death
suffered by him/her or caused to others parties as a result of any act, defect,
neglect or omission by him/her.
·
If
the tournament has to be cancelled or postponed for any reason, the organisers
will only refund 95% of the individuals entry fees, if paid already. The other 5% will be kept by the organiser as an
administration fee.
·
Competitors
must wear recognised tennis and squash clothing and shoes for all sports in the
racketlon contest.
Please avoid wearing white clothing for table tennis, as matches will be played
with white table tennis balls.
·
The
current world ranking will be used to compile the seeding for each category.
·
If
you have not pulled out of the competition before the entry deadline you are
committed, no matter if you show up for the tournament or not.
·
All
players must inform themselves of the time of their first match by accessing the
draws on this website.
·
All
competitors are guaranteed at least 2 matches. International competitors are
guaranteed at least 3 matches.
·
The
Tournament Committee/Referee reserves the power to:
a) Refuse entries not accompanied by a remittance for the amount of the entry
fees. Refuse any entry without assigning a reason.
B) Modify the programme as may be necessary, including combining categories
& the rules & reducing prize money if required. Alter the conditions in any way it thinks proper.

Tennis - 3* white balls 40mm will be used.

Squash
- Double yellow dot balls will be used.
The organisers of the
Scottish
Open
recommend that all participants wear protective glasses whilst playing squash.
·
Badminton
- All Classes (Men & Ladies) will use Feather shuttlecocks. If a serve hits
an obstacle hanging down from the ceiling it shall be replayed - at all other
times the point is lost.
·
Tennis
- ATP Tour approved balls will be used.
